An Integrious Look at Conformity
“Do not conform to society, do not conform to others, do not conform to your impulsive desires; instead conform your actions and words to your values, your beliefs, your heart and your soul, and in doing this you may find a new connection with the world that is ten times more enjoyable and powerful than any resulting from conformity to external forces.”

First, I would like to thank you for your website! It has been a real inspiration for me as I transistion from one career to another.
I hope to follow your example of enlarging the use of Integrity. Most of all, to make its application more universal. I have seen other Application Statements and have tried to pull the best of all to make a universal statement on Integrity Applications. all of this may exist somewhere already, but I have not found it at this time. I would appreciate your input to move this concept live in many others over time. To that end, I suggest the following:
DEFINITION OF APPLIED INTEGRITY: Applied Integrity is a branch of Integrious Studies/Science that concerns itself with Integrious Methods and Standards that are typically used in science, engineering, business, industry and life. Thus, ‘applied integrity’ is an Integrious Science with specialized knowledge and application.
The term ‘Integrious Science’ also describes the professional specialty in which Integrity scholars work on resolving practical Integrity situations; as a profession focused on practical problems, applied integrity will focus on the formulation and the study of Integrity models and its applications.
In the future, INTEGRIOUS APPLICATIONS will motivate the development of INTEGRIOUS THEORIES, which will become the subject of study in PURE INTEGRIOUS APPLICATIONS and are developed for their own sake. Thus, the activity of Applied Integrity is vitally connected with research in pure Integrity Applications.Pure Integrity should stand the simple criteria of ‘rigorous’ proof.

Nicely said. Conforming is so easy to do, its scary. One of my favorites things about spending my summers at Tikchik was coming home with this new sense of knowing myself. Being completed isolated from society gives a great perspective on who you truly are, as opposed to how you become when you let others influence you unknowingly.
