The Project
Integrity does not have an officially recognized word to describe someone possessing this virtue.  The Integrious Project is working to re-introduce the word integrious, as the adjective of integrity. Once enough people start using the word, it will become accepted and accredited. However, this project is about more than just the word, it is about connecting with and stimulating people to think about what personal integrity means on a broad scale and how it can be applied to our lives. It is time for integrity to make a comeback and it is time we start taking integrity personally. {IN-TEG-RI-OUS: adj. :  Marked by integrity}    – as defined by the Oxford English Dictionary in the early 19th centurty.

“There are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them.†– Denis Waitley
It is a catalyst, and it is about us claiming and owning integrity as ours. No longer a virtue that is unattainable in today’s complex world, ours is an integrity that we can we know, we can understand and see, we can become, and we can now call out and name with one word; integrious. What started with one man on a mission to “spread the word” is now becoming a collaborative journey.
“IntegrioUS: It starts with I and ends with US.”
The Integrious Project was founded May 3, 2010
